The Role 

We’re on the lookout for a front-end-focused Full-Stack Engineer who’s passionate about crafting fast, beautiful, and high-performing web experiences. You’ll take the lead on building our headless Shopify storefront using Next.js, React, and Tailwind, working closely with design, product, and backend teams to bring ideas to life. From implementing SEO-optimised data-fetching strategies to shaping our component library and performance tuning for Core Web Vitals—you’ll play a key role in delivering polished, production-grade interfaces that scale.

📍 Location: Remote — Open to candidates based anywhere in the world.

Key Responsibilities

• Ship pixel‑perfect, production‑ready UI for a headless Shopify storefront built with Next.js, React.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.

• Implement data‑fetching strategies (useQuery, Server Actions, Nextjs app router) that balance SEO, performance, and scalability.

• Consume and extend Shopify Storefront/Admin GraphQL APIs and integrate third‑party services (analytics, metrics, personalization).

• Own component libraries and design‑system patterns; translate Figma designs into reusable, accessible components.

• Optimise Core Web Vitals through bundle‑splitting, edge‑caching, and Lighthouse‑driven performance budgets.

• Write unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright) and participate in code reviews.

Qualifications

• 3 + years building React front ends in production, with at least 1 year of Next.js and headless‑commerce (Shopify preferred).

• 3+ years experience in TypeScript, modern React patterns (hooks, Suspense, Server Components), and Tailwind utility‑first workflows.

• Solid grasp of GraphQL (queries, mutations, pagination, fragments) and client‑side state tools such as SWR, or TanStack Query.

• Proven track record of performance‑ and UX‑driven development; you care about CLS, LCP, and intuitive user flows.

• Strong collaboration habits—pair with design, product, and backend teams to iterate quickly and ship value.

Nice to Have

• Expereince with posthog

• Experience deploying on Vercel or running Cloudflare Workers at the edge.

• Familiarity with A/B testing frameworks and data‑led iteration.
