The Role 

We're looking for a sharp and experienced Full-Stack Engineer who leans back-end and thrives in fast-paced, high-ownership environments. In this role, you'll take the lead on building secure, scalable APIs and real-time integrations that power our core product. You'll own critical infrastructure, shape API design in collaboration with front-end teams, and ensure production systems run smoothly. If you love writing clean, efficient code and solving technical challenges across the stack—especially in Node.js and TypeScript—this is for you.

📍 Location: Remote — Open to candidates based in Pakistan or India

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain secure REST & GraphQL APIs that power web, mobile, and partner integrations.

• Implement authentication and authorisation flows (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT) plus role‑based access controls.

• Own CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar): automated tests, static analysis, container builds, multi‑env deploys.

• Create background workers, cron jobs, and real‑time webhooks that sync data with third‑party SaaS.

• Monitor, debug, and tune production services using CloudWatch, Posthog, Vercel and structured logging.

• Collaborate with front‑end engineers to define API contracts and deploy them to production.

Qualifications

• 4 + years building production back ends in Node.js/TypeScript, ideally using NextJS, including ownership of at least one CI/CD pipeline.

• Deep knowledge of relational databases (Postgres or MySQL), migrations, query optimisation, and caching (Redis).

• Experience with modern web tools like Vercel(NextJS), Sentry, Supabase etc

• Comfort with containerisation and cloud‑native patterns (Docker, AWS Lambda/ECS/Fargate).

• Experience integrating external APIs and maintaining robust webhook/event systems.

• Strong testing culture (unit, integration, contract testing) and commitment to secure coding standards.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Shopify Admin API or other e‑commerce platforms.

• Infrastructure‑as‑code with Terraform or AWS CDK.

• Experience with Content Management Solutions

• Familiarity with event streaming (SNS/SQS, Kafka) and data pipelines
